About me:
I am a fourth-year Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Virginia and a research assistant in the Bajikar Lab. I am passionate about neuroscience and excited to contribute to the lab’s work investigating components of the TGF-β signaling pathway and their roles in brain function and disease. One of my newer projects focuses on designing a plate-based assay to study morphological changes in neurons associated with neurodevelopmental disorders, which will help provide a more objective approach to neuronal phenotyping.
Outside of research, I love to stay active by working out and playing pickleball, and I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I’m an avid sports fan—especially soccer—and I like traveling to experience new places, cultures, and food.
