About me:

I'm a biomedical engineering PhD student with an interest in understanding brain funciton and developing therapies to treat neuronal disorders. I recieved my B.S. in biomedical engineering from NC State University. During my time there, I researched the differences in adult and neonatal fibrinogen function due to differing content of specific sugar residues for the development of wound healing therapeutics and improved transfusions for neonates under Dr. Ashley Brown. I'm thrilled to be a part of the UVA BME department and look forward to conducting research under Dr. Bajikar and continuing to expand my knowledge of the brain.

In my free time I love to spend time outdoors, watch sports, connect with the community, and spend time with my dog Nash.
