End of summer celebrations and welcome to Garrett and Mia!

We had a very busy summer as a lab, from IRSF to welcoming new lab members! Some bittersweet moments too, as we celebrated Denise's departure and Julio's transition to remote work. We enjoyed hosting Eri Lee and Makenzie Thomas for their summer rotations. We are also thrilled to welcome Garrett Bartoletti, PhD as a postdoctoral research associate. Garrett comes to us from Tulane University and is excited to work with us to study multi-organ developmental defects in congenital disorders. We also welcome Mia Escudero, a BME Master's Student co-mentored with Natasha Sheybani. She comes to us from University of Florida and is excited to work with us to utilize focused ultrasound to enable therapeutic delivery in models of neurodevelopmental disorders.
