Spring celebrations - Trainee accomplishments!

This was a very fruitful Spring semester for the Bajikar lab! Our trainees have been busy making significant progress and discoveries, while being rewarded for their efforts as well!

Congratulations to Denise Pahang for graduating with a Master's of Science in Biomedical Engineering! Her thesis work demonstrates the potential focused ultrasound to enable therapies for Rett syndrome, which she presented at the UVa Brain Institute Symposium.

Congratulations to Beh Dahl for passing his qualifying exam! Within the same week he was also appointed to the NIH T32 Systems Biology and Data Science Training Grant!

Congratulations to Gracy Hardy for being awarded an NSF GRFP fellowship and completing her first academic year in the lab!

We are so proud of our trainees and looking forward to their continued growth and accomplishments!
